New for 2026: Vacuum Precision Investment Casting
Wall Colmonoy will be promoting its new Vacuum Precision Investment Casting (VPIC) capability located at Wall Colmonoy Limited in Pontardawe, Wales, UK.
This advanced process combines investment casting with vacuum melting to produce complex components with exceptional metallurgical integrity and dimensional accuracy. The facility operates one of the largest commercially available VPIC units in Europe and supports aerospace, defense, nuclear, and other high performance industries.

- Aerospace structural and engine components
- Thin wall precision casting
- Complex high temperature alloy parts
Wall Colmonoy Limited (UK) has made a £2 million investment in advanced Vacuum Precision Investment Casting (VPIC) capabilities, reinforcing its commitment to innovation in casting technologies and support for the UK’s defence and aerospace sectors.
OEM & Aftermarket products & Services
Wall Colmonoy’s aerospace operations support both OEM and aftermarket programs.
Wall Colmonoy OKC specializes in the manufacture and overhaul of aircraft heat exchangers and oil coolers for commercial and military aircraft including F-15 and F-16 platforms. The facility also manufactures Nicrocraft™ Aircraft Exhaust Systems for general aviation and rotorcraft.
Welding a F-16 Heat Exchanger Core
Aerobraze Cincinnati produces turbine engine components including vanes, nozzles, blades, honeycomb assemblies, and compressor diffusers using vacuum brazing, welding, machining, and thermal spray processes.
Rolls-Royce M250 Compressor Diffusers – Fabricated Complete
Key capabilities include:
- Turbine nozzles and blades

Materials ENGINEERING
Wall Colmonoy develops and manufactures Nicrobraz® nickel-based brazing filler metal, widely used in aerospace honeycomb and blade applications. Nicrobraz® is supplied as powder, paste, and tape.
Colmonoy® surfacing products are engineered to extend component life and are applied using PTA, Laser Cladding, HVOF, and Spray and Fuse application methods.
Quality and Certifications
Wall Colmonoy aerospace operations maintain certifications including AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001:2015, EASA.145.6085, and AWS D17.1/D17.1M:2017 for welding.
Nadcap approvals include brazing, heat treat, welding, coatings, and nondestructive testing. Aerobraze locations also maintain FAA Repair Station approvals with FAA-DER and FAA-DMIR expertise on staff.
